Most beautiful homestay located at a serene and peaceful place called Aloobari, the homestay is home away from home, Mr. Rapden is the best, and very helpful The view and food is awesome Rooms: Are clean and awesome, it's actually a suite.

Excellent home stay located in a small village of Aloobari which is 15 minutes away from Darjeeling via taxi. It’s an offbeat place away from group of tourists and crowd, a small quite place with friendly locals and mesmerising beauty. Rooms were spacious and tidy, it has a balcony overlooking other villages and hills which gives you a great view and one can sit and enjoy their meals from here. Rapden is a great host and it was great staying at Quaint Wood Cottage.

I stayed here for about 4 days and was mostly looking for a quiet place, with great views and internet connectivity so that I can work remotely. What this place provided was more than that: Great and healthy food, clean rooms, frsh air, beautiful sunrise, and the company of the host, Rapden. He has been a perfect host, and made sure my stay was great. Had great conversations with him on different topics: life, travel, relationships and what not. Really loved my stay here and will plan to visit again.

It was really nice experience staying for almost 10 days at the Quaint Wood Cottage home stay. The sun rise view from the room made all our morning rise superb. The wifi connectivity, 24 hrs water supply and, games for leisure in evening times and mobile connectivity was cream on ice cream. Do visit and experience the pleasure 😊
