It looks good from outside. But the condition of the rooms are pathetic. The rooms are not cleaned everyday. Bathroom taps are not working properly. Though they have ac in the room still the environment is not very appropriate to live in.

Couple

Hopeless stay in Crossroads HA129 HA Block Salt Lake Kolkata. Sharing my bitter experience in Salt Lake. Dear all, Me and my wife were on a tour. We planned to stay back in Kolkata for a couple of days while on the way back home to Guwahati. Accordingly we booked a room via AGODA. Before landing up into the property, I called the manager of the property Mr. Manoj over the phone and requested to provide a room in the upper floors into which he said, "you please come, we'll look into it". So on 10th Apr 23 at 1850h I reached the hotel. There I find that the hotel is actually a private property which was run in a form of hotel. Reaching there, I was provided with a small room with a bed covered with a bedsheet full of stain. The staff was requested thrice and lastly it was changed after raising voice. Now, I asked for a bottle of water. The price of a bottle was 30 whereas the price of the same bottle in the market is 20. When asked, they said it's 30 here in this property. I asked for cold water but they said it's not available. Finally I asked for their dinning and food menu; they said I have to talk to the manager for food. It will be prepared outside and will be provided in the room. But later, I was told to order my food online, as their cook has gone back for the day. I asked to change my room. For which I was waiting in the lobby for 1hr 20mins for the room to be prepared. When the room was checked the AC was at 35 degree and was not going down below 35. Finally, I came back to my previous room. See the audacity, they still have the courage to ask for the payment of room in advance after all these drama. The very next day in the morning I shifted to another hotel in Park Street. Even in the morning when I asked for the bill, they gave me a money receipt. When asked why money receipt, they said, "aapko bill chahiye kya, I said it's your duty to give the bill". I have given my email ID for the bill. So, dear all. Check before you think of going for a booking in this property. N.B. A photo of quilt of the room is attached with this review to let you know about the cleanliness of the room. Actually, the colour of the quilt is white but here it is almost brown.

This is a cosy and comfortable couple friendly hotel near tank no 13, Salt Lake, very close to the erstwhile Big Bazaar (which has now become Reliance Fresh+ Trends). The room was clean, and the bathroom was spacious. However, the walls of the room were too shabby and tainted - they really don't make boarders feel good about the place. Please re-paint the walls and make an effort to clean them up somehow! Rest - everything was fine. Thumbs up for staff behaviour. We came back at 12, or 1 am at night and they still opened the door for us with a smiling face, and brought us water bottles. Would love to stay again, and recommend to anyone looking for a non-judgemental comfortable hotel with no restrictions in a safe and secure locality.
