Hotel Gulistan

Fabulous location, walking distance to dal lake Superb hospitality One cannot find a better place to stay in Srinagar. This property is in true sense The Gulistan Overlooking the Dal lake, An ever smiling staff ( Mr Zoor ensures a comfortable stay for the guests. The hotel staff is polite and fast responsive . It certainly was one of our most memorable experiences in domestic travel. If one needs to rejuvenate then this property is highly recommended.

The positive thing of the hotel was behaviour of the hotel crew. They were very polite 😉 and helping we reached there around 10.30 pm and the two rooms are available as per our booking. But the two rooms are on two floors but the owner himself persuaded and vacated one adjacent room on same floor. There is no food facility in the hotel but they arranged dinner from outside however it was not up to mark. The problem is with the online booking portals as they shown and mentioned wrong location of the property it is in a street and far from Dal lake but they mentioned and shown it at one side of the lake.

Room and bathroom size is good as per value. Bathroom not 100% clean. Room inside electrical light is not enough, only 1 light was there. Main issue is owner. One of the owner is quite aged and his behavior is rude. Except this problem, it's a recommended hotel near dal lake. Hotel highlightsQuiet SafetyThis hotel has separate entrance from the main road.
