This is the big Day. We walk over boulders, moraine, scree and rough terrain with no proper path to crossh the Bhaba Pass (4865m) from the lush green Kinnaur Valley into the Arid, dry Spiti Valley. On a bright and sunny day, this walk is amazing affording excellent views of the mountains in the pin Valley. We are very likely to find a lot of snow and ice at the pass. Sometimes, we may also be accompanied by the shepherds and their big flocks of sheep. After crossing the pass it is a steep descent all the way to Baldhar, the camping place for Gaddi shepherds and yak herders. Overnight Camp.

The last day of the trek, involving a long trek to Mudh. We start early in the morning, and make our way to the Bara Boulder campsite, from where the trail descends gradually. The water available here isn’t very clean, so it’ wise to refill your bottles right at Baldar. Cross the tributary of the Pin river that sits quite close to the Bara Boulder. Crossing the stream brings you to flat land, which offers a sneak peek into the rustic village of Mudh. Finally, a short climb after crossing the suspension bridge over the Pin river will land you at the village where we'll be staying in swiss tent campsite.
