First off we had an experienced guide with us and he guided us to be safe around so many wild animals. It was a good place to go, saw a lot of cheeky monkeys amidst the old temple.
We did see some silly people doing silly things then complaining they didn’t like being scratched or bitten.
Having read so many reviews it was clear to me that we had to be careful.

Fun experience, a lot of monkeys that seem in great condition, but very very very busy. Park is quite big and the monkeys have a lot of space. Be careful for the monkeys not to steal your belongings!

These monkeys are extra cheeky. Nice big area to explore and plenty of monkeys. Note: They want your things, so keep them close.
I found out the hard way that they know how to open zips on a backpack.
Worth stopping in for sure. Plenty of slouch statues to keep you entertained.

What an awesome experience. We went early in the morning before the crowds and got to walk around and really enjoy the scenery! The monkeys were pretty well behaved and I only saw 1 trying to steal things from people. A great stop on our Ubud day tour!

Loved it! The forest is beautiful and clean. The monkeys are well fed and very docile. Honestly think if you keep your distance and don't get in their space, you should always be okay, unfortunately people go and stand right next to them, get in their face, just asking for trouble...
