Surrounded by sea, it's a beautiful view. The best time to visit is around sunset.
Although entering the temple is prohibited but you can feel the energy around.
The shacks, small cafes and restaurant on the hill provide the best view to have a chilled beer and enjoy the sunset.

Nicely looking temple. No entry as the gate is closed but you can go near to it walking through the water. Few sea side restaurants at the top of the peak left side from where you can have good view of the temple and it’s a good sunset view point.

The view from the hill overlooking Tanah Lot Temple is absolutely magical, especially at sunset. However, accessing the temple itself was disappointing. You can’t really go inside, and there’s a bit of a tourist trap at the entrance where you’re asked to get blessed and make a contribution, only to find out the temple is locked. You can just climb a couple of stairs and see a limited view. My advice: skip the temple entrance and head straight to the hilltop for an unforgettable view.
Absolutely beautiful ❤️ magical place. Went on a Sunday morning and it wasn't too crowded. But could tell it was getting busier as the day went on. The Balinese water blessing is beautiful. We also loved the snake and the story behind it. Make sure to bring cash with you to make donations. Please dress respectfully covering your legs and shoulders as per local tradition. 🙏

Good place to take pictures with the scenic beauty. We are not allowed inside the temple but can walk around and enjoy the scenary. There are restaurants inside.
