This stop should ABSOLUTELY be on your Bali itinerary! Gorgeous scenery, awesome history, and plenty to do for the whole family. It does get a bit crowded so come expecting that... but it is still worth the trip! 10/10 recommend!

Very clean & lushy green temple. Tourist are not allowed in the worshipping area, it's accessible to priest only, as it's one the holy site in the temple. But around that and in the premises of the temple is very soothing. Very photogenic place & very calm atmosphere. One can sit for a long time and relax.

Wow 🤩… picture perfect place… scenic, serene… temple located in backdrop of lake and mountains… famous temple in Bali & also popular film shoot / photography location… better buy a sarong (local dress) below waist is mandatory while entering this temple… must visit place in Bali

it's serene and beautiful. Tho getting there will definitely loosen few body parts as the roads are uneven, narrow and full of stones.
WILL NOT RECOMMEND going on 2 wheelers. Best to pay for a taxi and that too with full Aircon blasting.

Lovely nature, if you have some time on the island, definitely go here. It is relatively untouched by people so don't expect that much of it in terms of food stalls etc. Best is to rent a scooter and just cruise through the beautiful landscape, it's not just one spot but rather a region of the island.
