Great spot to visit and shop for souvenirs; don't forget to buy a variety of cashews, both salted and raw, to eat during your vacation and to bring home. We practically finished the entire purchase that we had bought for friends and family in a week. Loved the quality and flavor. Never before have cashews tasted so good.

We went here as part of an organised trip. You got to see the trees that grow cashews and the machines with people working and try lots of different flavour cashews, there's a shop at the end, it sells so many different products, very good prices too. Your not here too long, so maybe visit on the way to other places.

This factory they show you how they take the cashew put of the shell and how they divide the nut based if they breaks in pieces or a whole piece. They also have a huge variety of cashew with different flavor which they let you try. After the explanation they take you to a store where you can make your purchases.

You'll find local souvenirs, cloth and clothing, food and cafe, hardware shops and boutique hotels here. Worth a visit to soak in the old town ambience, for your instagrammable photos, and picking up some good buys.
