While crowds flock to southern Bali’s beaches and sea temples, the west is still off the tourist radar – despite being rich in culture, wildlife, and natural beauty. West Bali consists mainly of the district of Jembrana. In this part of Bali are some interesting places to visit. The main town of the Jembrana district is Negara. Although there is no beach but just an unique arch shaped rock formation which is a beautiful sight. The magnificent view of the sea is mesmerizing. It's a must visit place at Nusa Penida followed by Angel Billabong at a walking distance.Caution: Do not stand on or near the arch because the wave currents are too strong.

The famous T-Rex beach. As most reviews have stated before, believe the hype! Over crowded, poor steps, use good shoes if you decide to descend. We avoided the trip down to the beach itself as it was super busy and the path going down did seem quiet a challenge. It was good to see the measures in place to build an elevator, so future tourism allows for those to get to the beach with ease. The views though are an absolute marvel and seeing it in person is just amazing.
