Sleepy Sam -The Traveller’s Hostel

Rooms were very clean. Sam provided bottles of cold boiled water which was really helpful. Sam was one of the best hosts that I have ever had at a hostel. He made us a fantastic breakfast each morning, helped us organize visits to temples or hikes each day, had great recommendations for restaurants, and even brought us to a night club on a Friday night where we had a fantastic time. He made us feel at home and gave us a great view into life in Sikkim. Cannot recommend enough!

Well-equipped spick and span property. Sleepy Sam is a super comfortable property with an outstanding host - Sam is a gem of person who is really helpful in all ways. Would always recommend this stay to everyone!

Loved my stay at Sam's. Sam is extremely sweet and hospitable. Had great conversations with Senor Sam himself on his rooftop. The place is extremely clean and well maintained, and very suitably located to heart of Gangtok. Being a traveller himself, Sam is well aware of what the traveller's look for on their way, and has equipped his hostel for the same. Would def recommend it.
